ABSTRACT

We report on the diagnosis of verruca vulgaris by a confocal laser scan microscopy (CLSM) using the VivaScope® 1500. The laser scan microscopic images are compared to the histological HE-stain. In the CLSM we could show the typical histological changes of the verruca vulgaris lesion and verify the succesfull treatment of the verrucous lesions with the flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser (FPDL).
